My last month in Manila, 2005... CLICK HERE. The smile was just for the camera. It was seriously one of the most depressing days of my life. Funny how a ride soooo incredible, started with a day I don't like remembering at all... Three years later though? *huge smile* rhapsody [

WOW, an update. It's been quite a while. Flew to Singapore for work. Then went on vacation for two weeks which brought me to Manila and a side trip to Dakak. Came back for a day before making a work trip again to Tokyo (my third! who would've thoughted it...) And now am back in Hong Kong for a long while, but making a move. After three years in this apartment in Dbay, I am moving to another apartment, in Dbay... in fact just a building over. Makes the move MUCH easier... But first, pictures galore. Let's go by location. Before my 2 week break vac, I had a work trip to Singapore. We held auditions at La Salle SIA. Incrrrrrrrredible talent. And what a school, check out the architecture. ![]() I also got to meet up with Pats, a friend from LaSallian and her new beau. My sister was in town for work, so we got to hang out quite a bit too. ![]() Then Terence, who I haven't seen in SIX YEARS. We met when I did Rent Singapore, we became really good friends during the month I was there, and sort of lost touch for a while, then back again thanks to facebook. And we got to chat over coffee at Starbucks. Just like old times... ![]() And of course, how could I resist not taking pictures in front of the huge-ass A380, which was parked next to our gate... ![]() Manila had several highlights outside of rest. Mother's day in Linden Suites with the family, which was special cause I got to hang with the neice and nephew who are just too cute for words... ![]() ![]() Chloe's learned how to swim since my last trip to Manila, and we couldn't keep her in one place in the pool. She looks kinda nerdy with her goggles. Aww... Then since I couldn't make her anniversary concert at PICC, Lea invited me to drop by rehearsals! Which was too cool, it was her and six dear theater friends, with Gerard on piano. Made me think about how much I missed rehearsals like this. Heard the concert went incredibly well. I'll just have to wait for the TV special... *awww* ![]() ![]() Of course meeting up with friends for dinner... ![]() Then there was Dakak where, thanks to Lana, I was treated like Royalty. Let the pictures speak for themselves... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then one final dinner before I flew back to Hong Kong... ![]() Then just a day to rest, well not really cause Monday was quite hectic as is, then flew off to Tokyo. Stayed at the Tokyo Bay Hilton, very far from downtown, so all I got to see was the park really. Which was in 25th anniversary mode. Wow, and to think how huge and successful the park is, made me really hopeful for what Hong Kong Disneyland will be one day. 22 years from now... hmm, wonder if I'll still be around. Let's see... Check it out... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and a different take on the dragon we all know and love here in Hong Kong.. ![]() Cute. Anyhoo, that's a long, long entry. And it's mostly pictures. Just catching up all ten of you who read my blog. Getting ready for the big move in two weeks. Really glad I got a new place that I liked... and right next to Gerwin and Charlie! Pretty neat. It'll be a little tough saying goodbye to 12A. I mean, three years is three years. Still remember my first night here... alone, with no furniture... tears... and, hang on... saving that for a future blog. Later!! | |||||||||||||
